Full Level B (Advanced Personality Assessment)

Prior Training Required: Intermediate Level B

Objectives

  • To provide training and support for delegates experienced in the use of personality assessment towards the award of the highest practitioner certificate in this area
  • To encourage best practice in test selection and the implementation of psychological testing in the workplace

Key Features of the Course
We employ a 3 step approach to Full Level B

  1. Completion of assessment against the BPS competences (Units 3-5) in a second personality instrument (Intermediate Level B+)
Delegates following our Full B programme can take a conversion course in a second measure to give them the BPS Level B+ certificate. The choice will depend partly upon the measure they have qualified in during their Intermediate B training, as the second measure must differ enough from the first to guarantee breadth.
  2. Coverage of Units 6-9 of the BPS Level B competences.
This involves up to 3 training days which can be run as a block or be split. This requirement may be reduced dependent on training needs and experience. Delegates are provided with a Full Level B Workbook which contains all the assessments required for Units 6-9. The course is intended to include a dialogue in which the agenda is determined by delegate requirements in reaching the relevant competence levels, and the input is timed according to need.
  3. Supervision and support to complete the Diary Record and Project Report requirements.
