There are two ways to use Quintax!
- Method 1: you can register as
a Quintax Authorised User – either by undertaking relevant
training ( a 2 day course is available), or by applying for training exemption based on your
experience as a tester. This page deals mainly with this method, and the different training routes possible.
- Method 2: if you are not registered or trained, you can still get the benefits of using Quintax by working with us! Click for details of the Quintax Bureau Service
Alternatively, if you wish to complete Quintax or Quintax On-line for your own
development, please call us on +44
(0)161 877 3277 to discuss the options.

For those with no prior experience or qualifications in testing
there are two main options.
- The simplest option is to complete our 2
Day Quintax Qualification programme. This is intended for
delegates who wish to become Quintax users and who do not currently
require BPS certification.
- A second option is to complete our 'Level
A programme'
followed by our 'Intermediate
Level B' programme. These
enable delegates to become Quintax qualified while collecting two nationally recognised certificates in testing awarded by
the British Psychological Society: the Level A and the Intermediate
Level B Certificates.
If you are qualified as a tester up to BPS Level
A ...
If you are eligible for or have a BPS Level A Certificate but
don't have Level B you can become an Authorised User of Quintax
via our Intermediate Level
B programme (which also provides registration for a wide range
of other personality measures). Alternatively you could take our
2 day Quintax Qualifying
Course as described above.

Those who are eligible for or have the British Psychological Society's
Intermediate or Full Level B Certificate (or equivalent*) can obtain
Authorised User status by completing a Quintax
Authorised User Registration Form and by
purchasing a Quintax
Registration Pack. The
Registration Pack contains:
- A Quintax Reference Set
- A Quintax On-line account with 150 Quintax On-line Units
(these are credits that can be used to purchase on-line assessments using the
questionnaire).
- An option to attend FREE our 1 day Quintax
conversion programme to obtain familiarisation with the
questionnaire. Attendance at the programme is recommended but
not mandatory.
*'Equivalent' in the above is normally taken
to mean having qualified on at least one Level B personality measure
and having used this in a range of contexts in relation to selection
and/or development of people. If in doubt, contact us to see if
your experience and qualifications enable registration.
If you are already qualified up to BPS
Intermediate Level B but would also like to qualify at B+ using
Quintax...
Those who are qualified at Intermediate Level B but would also
like to obtain the BPS Intermediate B+ Certificate by means of
Quintax may attend our 1
day B+ Quintax Conversion Course. This includes a FREE
Quintax Registration Pack (as above), together with a portfolio
of exercises for completion and assessment at Level B+. For the
B+ route, attendance at the 1 day Conversion Course is mandatory.
For B+ qualification, the BPS requires that your second instrument
(Quintax) is 'sufficiently different' from your first instrument
to guarantee that you have had broad coverage of personality measures.
Please contact us if you are in any doubt as to the degree of
difference between your first measure and Quintax.
If you are not in any of these categories
...
If your circumstances don't match those described above, for example
